OOooooo its been a while!
We're engaged! ...

In other news. We now have a fantastic modern kitchen which we are very proud of as we installed it ourselves! .. ahem.. well a little help from Dave P who installed every unit, the flooring, the electrics, the appliances, the plumbing and Alan who installed the radiator and gas supplies!
We did put the boxes together though!
Another addition to our automotive collection is my new motorbike. One of the best experiences you can ever have. Truely the most fun you can ever have, hopefully this summer will be slightly better than last!

Blimey.. what a bunch of LOONs! Yes new years eve .. what a start to the year! Plenty of drink .. well there was until Holly drank it neat. Jordons first female offensive of the season helped by donations of mobile phones.. and some cool chat with Unc. Paul.
Paul "Easy fella how are the chicks?"
Jordon "Lifes good got a couple of Hoochies on the go"
Paul " Good lad! save one for me!" !*slap*! "ou.. sorry Becky"
We went, we saw, we laughed
Northampton was ..erm.. dull and again my amazing choice of hotel proved I have possibly the worst decision making skills..ever

York ..actually very nice place
York, not as far as you might think. One and a half hours from Nottingham. That is until you reach York. I've never been to a place where the town planners used the flight of a bumble bee to map out the streets, Queues everywhere at all hours of the day.
We stopped off at XSCAPE in Leeds on the way up which was excellent and definatly worth another visit http://www.xscape.co.uk for a closer look. The sky ride is a trip to take if you don't mind being petrified out of your mind and sweating. Speaking of sweating, we also went to the laser quest .. which I used to think was rubbish compared to paintballing. Turns out if your a bit unfit and don't want to have 3" wide brusies all over your body its actually rather good!
..a little unfit
Especially if you win. As you will observe in the gallery, myself and Becky pasted the other two teams, both of us getting a higher individual point score than the yellow of three 'people' (remembering of course that it was Friday lunch time and the kids were in school, at least the ones not classed as socially excluded.. like the ones we beat!)
Wolverine and Phoenix will accept challenges from all comers!
The Hotel was very nice very friendly staff, good rooms all the usual gubbins. Our fancy meal was at a place called Delrios which was excellent, as long as you know that Napolti sauce is basically tomato sauce and if you don't like tomato sauce don't order Raviolli Napolti.
Places we recommend:
- Walk to top of the Minster
- Railway Museum (no really! its excellent!)
- York Boats
- Marmadukes Hotel
Not recommended:
- Toliets which cost 20p attended by a deaf dumb woman
- Bettys tea room (didn't go in, massive queue and it just sells tea and cakes)
- Viking Centre - Again massive queue and I can't see a proper viking museum working indoors.

York... ooo how exciting!
"built between 1357 & 1361 and is the finest building of its date and type
in Europe. Visitors to the Hall will marvel at the splendour of the Great
Hall where business was conducted, courts were held and social events were
attended, they will learn about medieval hospitals when they visit the Hall's
Undercroft and they will understand more about the religious practices of the
time by viewing the Chapel"
Updates after the event...
